Belkyra™

Belkyra™ is a non-invasive, injectable treatment that uses deoxycholic acid to permanently eliminate submental fat, which creates a “double chin.” Deoxycholic acid is produced naturally in the human body by the liver to digest fats. When injected, deoxycholic acid breaks down the fat under the jaw, which is often resistant to diet and exercise. 

Most clients require 2–4 one-hour treatments over a period of 4–6 weeks to see the best results. There is no downtime after a Belkyra™ procedure, however some patients take time off due to the potential for swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising.
